AACI 2025 — Fueling Connection, Innovation, and Shared Progress

This June, IgniteData had the pleasure of attending our fourth consecutive AACI conference—an annual gathering that continues to grow in both importance and impact for the clinical research community. And this year’s event? It was our most powerful yet.

From the very start, the week was charged with a sense of shared momentum. We kicked things off with a packed panel discussion hosted by IgniteData, where leaders from Memorial Sloan Kettering (Joe Lengfellner), Mayo Clinic (Angela Fritsche), and our own Co-Founder Richard Yeatman shared the stage. The panel, moderated by our VP of Provider Development Chin Weerappuli, sparked a lively and insightful conversation on the evolving landscape of EHR-to-EDC automation.

What stood out most was how much has shifted in just one year. No longer a question of if sites will adopt automation—but how fast and how far. As one attendee remarked afterward, “The conversation has clearly matured. Now it’s about execution and scale.”

Throughout the week, we reconnected with familiar faces and met new ones—colleagues, collaborators, and forward-thinking leaders who are all working to modernize clinical research. The tone was one of partnership, alignment, and action.

We closed out the conference by co-hosting a sold-out evening reception with Veeva, welcoming over 125 attendees from 40+ research sites. What began as a casual networking opportunity quickly turned into a room buzzing with shared ideas, collaboration, and energy. The highlight of the evening was our live demo, expertly led by Emi—which sparked a wave of interest from site contacts eager to see more.

We’re grateful to AACI for continuing to provide a platform where these critical conversations can thrive. Events like these help move the entire industry forward, and we’re honored to be a part of it.

We’re already counting down to AACI CCAF in October—and can’t wait to continue the conversation there.
